Recognising the problems faced by organizations with multiple sites spread across the country, myAsset is specially developed to harness the powers of Internet to provide enterprise assets management for multi-sites organization.

myAsset is a web-based system, built on Microsoft SQL database to provide high volume, multi-sites application. Companies no longer have to be constraint by the size of their LAN. They can make use of this system to maintain a central database, while allowing access by users from any remote sites. Authorised users can log in anywhere where they have internet access, even from the comfort of their home.

The system allows the creation of multiple centers or business units. This allows individual centers to manage their own assets, while under the umbrella of the central command. Users can only access assets under their own centres. Organisations will be glad to know that while individual centers still holds responsibility over their assets, the company HQ can have a wide helicopter view of the entire assets.

Individual centers can still make use of the mobile Palm Pilot with barcode scanning technology to effectively inventory or audit checks. The system prints high quality labels to uniquely identify the assets. On-site verification and transfer of assets can never be easier! Emails can also be sent to the relevant parties whenever there are any transfer of assets. This is especially important when assets are transferred from one remote site to another.

Individual division / department control	Assets are sorted by division and departments to facilitate procurement as well as eliminate discrepancy arising from shared access of the entire organization asset database.
Multi Level User Access & password security	User access rights to view, add, edit or delete can be determined by the assigned access level.
Access Trail	The system trails the user access, giving the System Administrator the ability to exercise more control in tracking activities of the system.
Search and Print	Users can search for a particular assets using a combinations of conditions. From the search list, users can also print the range of asset labels on any printers.
Individual Asset Records	Over 200 selectable and user defined fields that can accurately describe an asset, giving users absolute flexibility and power to decide.
Main Category / Sub Category Classification	An asset class can be further sub-categorized to reflect the relationship between them. For e.g. a PC can be sub-categorized into its components like hard drive, CDROM…etc
User-defined Screen	Users can customized their own screens to suit their organization’s needs. Individual fields can be added or deleted from the main screen.
Report Generator	A comprehensive reporting module that allows users to either select from the list of standard reports or customized their own. Users can specify up to 10 multiple conditions to distinctively extract out the desired contents.
Data Export	Flexible export capabilities using multiple formats (Excel, Text, HTML) provides compatibility and easy integration with other systems and mainframes.
Auto Generate Asset ID and Barcode Labels	The system automatically generates Asset ID and barcode labels simultaneously, giving individual asset a unique identification on the spot.
Mobile Real-time Verification	Our PDA application provides mobility in transferring, monitoring, tracking and stock-taking assets with instant information and verification on the handheld PDA cum barcode scanner. Discrepancy reports of the missing and unmatched assets list.can be generated with real-time results of the stock-take.
Mobile Data Updating	Users can scan any assets and retrieve information from the PDA. When assets needs servicing or special attention, users can write comments on the PDA for subsequent system upload.
Batch Collection	Users can scan all the assets in a particular location for subsequent upload to the system. Assets information and discrepancy reports can be generated instantaneously.
